Hi Max, Can you answer this for me please? hugs

Permissions of FM, when I try to make it that guests to read index but not posts on my forum, it says Guests to view and read. Can't see what to do.

Also do you know what the points are for? I've got over a thousand and don't know how I'm getting them. scratch

I used the Prt Sc Sys Rq on my keyboard and Paint. I'm just playing at the moment making a tutorial on uploading pics for my girls. :geek:

Is that programe easier? Can you not use the one on your computer for firefox?

I have done the permissions now Max, it was an advanced option I hadn't noticed, thanks.

Is it similar to Photoshop elements? I seem to have 2 or 3 photo editing programs so if it is I won't bother to dowload it. I don't understand the one's I have that well. Rolling Eyes

well to be honest i have tried photoshop and gimpshop (the free version from gimp) as well as pain shop pro that my sister has, well they are all hard to use, where as fast stone is easier to use, its not as powerful, but ideal for stuff i need, it isnt a creator its mpore an editor/viewer.

I downloaded FastStone and so far I think it's brilliant, I resize in the same programe instead of changing to irfanview. It does the screen shots great. cheers

Another question though, confused I thought it had taken the whole of my index page but when I put it up to photobucket it was only part of the screen. Do I have to take several of the index page of my forum or should I reduce the size of the index page or is there a secret to getting the whole page in one shot but small enough to post? Rolling Eyes

well i found in the "screen capture"

capture window object = gets what your pointer clicks on

capture rectangle = you choose size by dragging pointer

capture freehand = you decide what shape/size

capture full screen = it gets the whole desktop

then when image is obtained i resize before sending to photobucket,
thats how i did the screen shot of acp for you using the rectangle 1 and resizing to how i want it.

Thanx Max, it has taken a different route, it never became a "Daily Strength" but it's out there and the word is out, that is what my main thing is, public awareness about DVT.
I look at it more like a library, as oppose to a membership base answer/question...
Who knows, maybe some day. huh

Hi Tony,
sorry for a late response,
when Zenar created Fast ASCii as far as im aware, he was using Windows XP,

i dont know if anyone tested/used it on WIN 7, sorry i cant be of anymore help,
there is one thing to try,
before you start Fast ASCii, you need to view properties (right clivk the fast ascii icon i think) then compatibility tab and set it to run as WIN XP, that will use win XP drivers to run progs on win 7.
